A new specialized luxury cinema complex featuring the latest technology will open in Isfahan City Center. This cinema complex will have five screens all featuring the latest 3D and digital projection hardware, as well as state-of-the-art Dolby Digital surround sound. Construction of the cinema complex – which will seat 708 people in total – is currently underway.  Along with this development, further developments are being undertaken at the mall on the lower cinema level.  For the convenience of film viewers, tickets booking was made available through the Internet which will, presumably, allow visitors select their seats as seen best places for them within the theatre whereas a window is also allocated for pre-booked tickets.

IMAX is a motion picture film format and projection standard created by the Canadian IMAX Corporation. IMAX has the capacity to record and display images of far greater size and resolution than most conventional film systems. A standard IMAX screen is 22 × 16.1 m and they are generally the same everywhere. IMAX is the most widely used system for special-venue film presentations. As of December 2009, there were more than 400 IMAX theatres in over 40 countries.
